Condolence message on passing of Mr. Yukiya Amano

The Afghanistan Atomic Energy High Commission (AAEHC), with deepest sorrow and sadness, expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends, and all staff at International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on passing of Mr. Yukiya Amano, the General director of IAEA.

During the past ten years, with Mr. Yukiya Amano’s hard work and his substantial dedication, the IAEA has delivered significant cooperation in various sections to All Member States, especially to Afghanistan in order to achieve the objective of “Atoms for Peace and Development”.

As a Member of IAEA, we are very grateful to Mr. Yukiya Amano for all the successes that the agency has been achieved during his leadership in international peace, security and development. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and colleagues.
